飲食店は数あれど、これほどマニアックでおいしい日本酒を数多く提供しているところはないと称される、白金高輪のダイニングバー「GONZO」。そんなGONZO のマスター浅井剛一氏が、日本酒の歴史と文化の話を交えつつ、ホテル・レストランでの提供方法までご紹介していきます。
There are many restaurants, but there are none which provide such delicious and numerous kinds of sake, which can please enthusiasts, as the dining bar "GONZO" in Shirokane-takanawa. 九州でも日本酒
「九州にも日本酒があるのですね！」と言われることがあります。おいしいお酒が多い九州ですので、今回は九州の地酒について説明します。九州というと焼酎のイメージが強く、暖かいところでは日本酒が造れないのではと思われる方が多いですが、九州にもおいしい日本酒を造られている酒蔵がたくさんあります。私の店で扱っているお酒の中でも東北の次に九州のお酒がラインアップしています。鹿児島、宮崎は蔵が少ないですが、福岡、佐賀、大分、長崎には日本酒蔵がいくつもありますし、全国でも名の通っているおいしいお酒があります。
Sake make in Kyushu
Sometimes I heard people say “Kyushu produces Sake, isn’t it!?” Since Kyushu produces a lot of great Sake, I would like to explain about Kyushu’s local Sake. Even though Kyushu is more famous for Shochu and many people think it is impossible to produce Sake in a warm place, there are many great Sake breweries in Kyushu. In my bar, I have a line-up of Kyushu Sakes next to Sakes from Tohoku. Kagoshima and Miyazaki have few breweries but Fukuoka, Saga, Oita and Nagasaki hosts many breweries and delicious Sake brands that are well known all over Japan.
